Cool Tech was born out of a vision shared by two HVAC/R pioneers in Riyadh. From a modest A/C workshop to becoming the largest HVAC/R spare parts’ distributor in the Middle East, our journey reflects a relentless pursuit of excellence and customer satisfaction.
For over three decades, Cool Tech has established itself as a leader in the HVAC/R industry, providing the highest-quality products, from compressors to copper fittings. Founded in 1986 by Mr. Umar Ammu and Mr. Sreedharan N.M. with A/C workshops, Cool Tech began its journey with a vision for quality and service. By 1989, we officially incorporated, opening our first branch in Riyadh.
Our growth continued in 1997 when we partnered with Abdul Aziz Al Amoudi to expand our store and offer a wider range of HVAC/R solutions. The opening of our Shara Rail Batha branch in 1999 established us as the go-to supplier for HVAC/R spare parts in Riyadh.

As demand for our products surged, we launched our wholesale division in Faisaliyah in 2009, operating out of a 2,500 square meter warehouse. Our rebranding in 2015 reflected our adaptability and commitment to staying ahead of industry trends. We further solidified our presence in the market with new branches in Jeddah (2016) and Dammam (2017), expanding our operations across the Western and Eastern Provinces.

Our international expansion continued with the establishment of sister concerns in the UAE (Cool Plus) in 2003 and China (Green Air) in 2018, which became pivotal in supporting our growth. In 2021, we celebrated record-breaking sales of over 2,000 tonnes of ACR copper, and in 2022, we entered a joint venture with Cool Plus LLC in the UAE.

The opening of our new distribution centre in 2023 marked a significant milestone, as our 6,000 square meter warehouse became the largest HVAC/R wholesaler in the region. Today, as we celebrate years of service, Cool Tech remains synonymous with durability and performance in Riyadh and beyond, proudly leading the HVAC/R spare parts wholesale and retail market in the Middle East region.
